My LO never talks to me and usually falls asleep as soon as she is buckled into her car seat. My friend says this is because I have her rear facing and she is bored....
Did your LO start talking more when you switched them to forward facing? I want to keep her rear facing until she is 2!

If she is awake, she coo's at me and herself (we have a mirror thingy) then she sucks her thumb and looks out the window.

She's only almost 4 months old but she jibber jappers the whole way to daycare and usually falls asleep on the way home. We have a mirror that hangs from her car seat that she talks to herself in. She hasn't realized yet that she is talking to herself

We have the brica mirror but my LO doesnt talk to me. she is just quiet and looks at the cars or sleeps

My LO used to babble in the back when he was rear facing. Now that he is forward facing he spends the whole ride looking out the window. He loves to observe cars and traffic signs.

@autumnlove: We have a mirror on the back of her seat, but her favorite is actually this toy from Target. She is so facinated by it! Best 10 dollars spent!
