I have my 22 week appointment next week and realized this is my first appointment without an ultrasound or some kind of test results (so far I've had 8 week appt/dating scan, 12 week appt/NT scan, and 18 week appt/anatomy scan). He is planning on coming but I realized it might be kind of a short/boring visit! Not sure if I should just tell him not to come? Or if that'll make him feel left out?

I voted All but then remembered he missed one around 28 weeks or so, set in the middle of my 3 hr GD test.
ETA: He wanted to come to my appointments. Maybe leave it up to him?

Unless he really wanted to, I didn't want him at the monthly/biweekly/weekly appointments. He would be there to see me get weighed/measured and pee in a cup. There was nothing to see. Again, if he really wanted to...

DH went to every single one!

So far, he has come to all, even the non-ultrasound ones. He likes hearing the heartbeat
Luckily, he just went salary, so he can take off for an hour without much difficulty. I don't know about once we get to the bi-weekly/weekly ones.. he might get bored

Not all, but he was there for every major ultrasound!

I always tell DH he can skip if he wants to, but he likes going!

I think we're planning on having the hubby go to all my appointments.

He will come to all the major ones, but probably not the quick weight/blood test/how's everything going ones. Anything with an ultrasound he will come to, and anything where we'd be getting test results back, but other than that I don't think he is interested.
I asked the midwife what most spouses do and she said for first time pregnancies, usually the SO comes to almost all, for second, only the major appointments. I personally want him there any time there is a chance of a problem.

Other - he went to as many as his work schedule allowed - probably over half! I liked having him there.

At first when I went to a doctor close to home he would come to every single one but when I switched doctors and I had 2pm appointments he couldnt take off work to come. He came to the sonograms though.

He missed my first appointment last week, which had an U/S
I asked the nurse practitioner which appointments he should attend, and she just said 20 weeks.Apparently there is going to be an U/S at every appointment...

He wanted to come. I think it gave him a chance to feel more connected to the pregnancy. Plus he's a real detail oriented person and had his own questions to ask most of the time.

DH wanted to go to all of my appointments and this week he missed the first one at 28 weeks. Now that they're every other week, he may not make it to all of them. He likes coming though

My husband came to all my appointments except for 3 because of work with #1. He wanted to though. With this one, because of DS, he most likely will come only to a few. He'll definitely come to all ultrasounds

so far, he's been to all but one appt. that one appt was my first "routine" appt where you give them a urine sample, get weighed and they check your bp. but apparently we also get to hear the heartbeat with a doppler. i think he would have liked to hear it too. so i'll let him decide if he wants to join me for the upcoming routine appts.

I told he didn't have to come to all of them but he came to every single one. It was nice to feel the support.

He only went to the ultrasound ones. So, first appt, 20 week, 28 weeks, and 36 weeks. It wasn't practical or necessary for him to take off to come to other 5 minute appointments.

Just the anatomy scan. I wish he had come for one of the earlier ultrasounds (either the 8-week, although since it was vaginal, that would have been weird for him, or the 12-week testing one), but the other appointments are so quick that it hasn't been worth it for him to take off work mid-day. My work schedule is more flexible than his. I don't think he plans to come to any others until the big one (that would be labor and delivery), although he came to every class I signed up for, too.

He's come to two, once when we heard the heartbeat and then the anatomy scan. I doubt he will come to any others.

He came to the first two office appointments, both ultrasounds, and one other random appointment that was the same night we had a breastfeeding class at the hospital. Other than that I told him not to bother coming, they were very quick appointments and I had an uncomplicated pregnancy.

Just my initial and 4d. I never knew when I'd be having an in office u/s.

He just comes to the ones with an ultrasound. It doesn't seem necessary for him, when the doc just listens to the heartbeat and measures my belly. Like 10 mins top. He might start coming once we get to the end.

I said other, cause he came to the anatomy scan we had at a little boutique, and he went to my glucose test with me, to keep me company. It's not easy for him to get off work for it, but I know if he really could come with me to more appointments he would.

He came to all of them up to 20 weeks. I had more than one early ultrasound, though, so he wanted to be at those. Once it became "weight, heartbeat, blood pressure" he didn't come anymore, which was fine with me.

I chose other. So far he's been to every one except one (I'm 27w3d), but now I'm about to start biweekly, and he won't be able to miss that much work, so he'll only come to every second one. We don't do u/s at our midwife's office, those are booked separately, and he has been to both so far, and will go to all of those

He's been to all of them, and he's even coming now that they're weekly. He's as much a part of the pregnancy as me, and loves being there. We're lucky, though, that his "weekend" is mid-week, so he doesn't have to take off work to come with me.

I wish he could have come to all the ultrasound appts - I was living in a different city for 3 months (we were together every weekend), which covered nearly all of the first trimester and a few weeks of the second, so he missed some early ultrasounds, including the fun NT scan where the baby was bouncing around a lot!

So far he has come to every one or made plans to come. This one us an US and physical. He will definitely be there for the US but might have to leave to go to work for the physical. I doubt there is anything for him at that one anyway.

I voted all because he's wanted to. but, being High Risk I've had some addl appts come up that he just couldn't make but I think he's only missed 2 and I'm 25 weeks.
He wants to be at every single appt. -
I'm with Mrs. Pen. He came when he could, which was most of them. I loved having him there but was okay when work wouldn't allow it. I even had the ultrasound technician write down baby's gender since he had to work and we wanted to find out together (:

then, he came to every single one after the 32w point. We discussed labor, induction...Everything before that was totally boring. -

He would look down there with my OB and ask all these questions. His lack of knowledge & elementary level curiosity embarrassed me mostly, but I appreciated the interest! -

I put other because he tries to make it to what he can. Its been most of them but he has had to miss a few which I dont mind.

Every single one. I gave him the option when there weren't ultrasounds, but he was adamant!
