He hates big bows and tutus. He keeps asking me about this american obsession with "clown clothes" on little girls. heh. unfortunately for him, my mom ONLY gives "clown clothes" as gifts. hehe.
He hates tulle of all kinds, hates tutus attached to leggings, hates tutus in general, and big bows on clothes or on hair.

lol no OSU apparel! We live in Columbus (home of OSU) and he grew up in Michigan rooting for UM, and it is a huuuuge rivalry. Even though I went to OSU, he still hates seeing OSU stuff around the house and has banished it from LO's wardrobe.

DH likes to dress DD. He always takes a picture and likes it when people comment or likes his mini style photos.

Dh doesn't really care at all, plus he's always like my style and he's always happy to hear from people that ds have great style.

He doesn't really care but like me isn't a fan of the big bows.

DH doesn't care at all, thinks whatever I put her in is adorable. FIL once told me he hates all the bows and headbands we put in her hair when she was a baby... which had the opposite effect he wanted... I made sure she wore them more often, ha!

He doesn't have super strong opinions, but he does have good taste! We both dislike a lot of the same things for DDs wardrobe.

He appreciates good style!! but leaves the styling up to me. We like to shop together and we both love dressing Wagon Jr. in a similar style to Wagon Sr.

He doesn't care, but loves when I dress her up. I think actually, the girlier the better! He loves when she has tutus!
grapefruit / 4400 posts
He hates big headbands/bows and HATES baby bikinis... too bad I put her in one this weekend for our anniversary trip
watermelon / 14206 posts
He likes to buy a lot of brand name threads for LO, but I know that once LO has a preference for a type of clothes, he'll do what he can to accommodate his personal style...same as he does with DS.
pomegranate / 3565 posts
We generally have the same taste so it's not an issue! We like to dress DS like a guy in smaller size clothes. Nothing smocked, no bubbles, etc.
Now if we had a girl that would be a different story!
cantaloupe / 6131 posts
I think DH would basically keep a baby (1) naked, (2) in diapers, (3) in the backyard, (4) with a hose handy. Otherwise, he's talked about dressing our baby in a poncho, garbage bag, or tarp.

@autumnlove: DH hates jeans that aren't blue. If we had a girl, I know he would hate big bows.

@Mrs. Polish: No popsicle colored skinny jeans for Z?

He does not care or seem to notice. I always have to point out when I put him in something I am excited about. If DH dresses him he usually just ends up in a onesie or a shirt and diaper so I guess he does have an opinion that LO doesn't need pants.

He doesn't really care, but prefers not hte overly pink/fluffy stuff...which I don't care for either, so no issue
pineapple / 12793 posts
DH dislikes animal print, too much pink, princess stuff, big bows, tutus, restrictive pants.
He would dress her in sweats every day.
blogger / nectarine / 2010 posts
@autumnlove: Not ever. Someone got him a pair of red jeans size 3mo and I wanted to put them on him just to bug DH but I was too busy being a first time mom freaking out about everything to have fun.

He likes John Deere and animals on DD - anything to make her more country
pomelo / 5678 posts
We both love the same things on lo. The only thing he hates is nonstretchy fleece (trying to get it over a sweater)- anything non-user friendly!
grapefruit / 4923 posts
@gingerbebe: haha, love it!
DH and i are both pretty lackadaisical when it comes to LO's wardrobe. if i can buy it used and it's pretty plain, LO is wearing it.
wonderful grape / 20453 posts
I don't think he cares at all...unless it's a terribly impractical outfit. I hate those, too, though, for diaper changes.
honeydew / 7230 posts
Right now (they haven't been born yet) he doesn't seem to care, as long as they aren't really expensive. He may develop more of an opinion once they're on the outside. I'm guessing he'd prefer things that are easy to put on/take off!
cantaloupe / 6687 posts
He doesn't care for swimsuits that look like mini adult bikinis. Other than that he doesn't really care and thinks she is adorable in everything
wonderful pear / 26210 posts
Apparently, my husband hates all girl clothes. He didn't want anything pink or purple, with glitter, no bows, no tutus, nothing.
Any girl clothes he liked were basically extensions of Ralph Lauren polo shirts.

@shopaholic: This is how my husband is too...he looooves to see her dressed up. If she's in leggings and a onesie he tells me she doesn't look "right." LOL! And no big bows or crazy animal print or neon yellow colors.
pineapple / 12526 posts
Surprisingly, if he dresses her... she's normally in the biggest, pinkest tutu he can find. lol. Now that she's older, he always lets her pick her own clothes, so she's usually a hot mess.
He hates big bows too.
pomegranate / 3858 posts
Big bows/hair accessories (my mom made a bunch of headbands for her with big flowers on them, and he wouldn't let LO wear them).
Also, anything that seems complicated to put on (so anything other than pants and a tee shirt).
coconut / 8861 posts
Nope, not really. Last night, I was trying to explain to him how I need some warmer clothes for LO as he's outgrowing his size quickly. I mentioned putting him in a 24 month bodysuit with a sweater until it warms up a bit. He could have cared less.
coconut / 8279 posts
He hates Babylegs on DS. Thinks they are tights, thinks they're really weird and ugly.
And Uggs & TOMS, he hates when I have DS in them.
bananas / 9973 posts
@gingerbebe: lol! Whenever DH sees LO naked - he's like "why is she naked?" He thinks she should always be dressed, even if her bath is in 30 min. Doesn't want her to be cold.
@emg86: I know, they love having little Daddy's princesses!
