It's very very rare...usually only when we're in a group, and even then he uses a nickname. I also rarely use his name--we're big on nicknames!

He doesn't. He invented a nickname for me, and it is silly so I will not be sharing it. But, I very rarely get my first name from him, unless we are around a lot of friends that don't know us really well.

It's strange to hear DH say my name! You know...I'm not even sure what he usually calls me.

He hardly ever calls me by my name, it's so weird to hear him say it, it actually always makes me nervous like he's going to say something serious!! I'm usually sweetie or love.

DH never calls me by my name, and I don't ever call DH by his either. We call each other "bunches." More recently we are known as "mommy" and "daddy." I find it hard to say DH's name because around his friends he pronounces it the American way, but around family it's the Vietnamese way.

@yoursilverlining: agreed. If hubs calls me by my name it's not going to be a fun conversation!

If he calls my name he isn't happy or that I didn't hear him trying to get my attention.

Rarely, it's always baby or bay. When he says my name I feel like i'm in trouble, kinda how your parents say your full name when you're about to get it...

I am usually baby, honey bunny (ironic Pulp Fiction reference) or wifey.

He only calls me by my name when he's irritated.

Very rarely, and I usually have a "wait, what did you call me?" mental moment. He almost exclusively calls me Honeybee.

Rarely. He usually calls me Bug.

When he's happy and pleased he'll refer to me "my wife". When I annoy him is my real name. I hear my nsne often. Lol

He never calls me by my name! It always weirds me out on the few occasions he does.

When he's irritated with me he calls me "woman." Lol!

Yeah true, he doesn't use my first name that much either. (In reference to a post from yesterday about what do you call your SO.) We are "babe" to each other. How original. lol

I feel like the odd woman out, but we only call each other by our names. I don't know, we're not the "babe," "baby," "sweetie," etc. types. It just doesn't feel like me!

He calls me by a shortened version of my first name, or babe. He usually calls me babe. If Chloe's in the room, he will call me mama.

I call him by a shortened version of his first name, or call him a nick name that's really ridiculous that I made up. Or babe.

Nope he doesn't normally use my name either unless he's telling a story with me in it/talking about me. He doesn't call me by a pet name either, it's usually just us so he just starts talking and I know it's to me. If he calls me something it's either "girl" or my name.
