My kids are almost 15 months, end of the month, and they drool like I'm paying them per drop. My hubby thinks its cuz they've been on the pacifier. I'm cutting them off pacifier finally. It's been about 2 days now. Don't see an improvement yet. My kids are the ONLY ones with bibs wherever they go. I admit, I'm a lil embarrassed lol.
So, does your toddler drool? were they on the pacifier? Did it help when they stopped?

M wasn't a drooler. So far baby boy isn't a drooler either.

My toddler isn't a drooler. She sucks her thumb and hated pacifiers.

Mine is 14 months and drools like crazy. I get annoyed when people ask why i have a bib on her, isn't it for mealtime? Growl.
She only recently cut her third tooth, so i think she will be drooling for a while. Sigh. She was never on a pacifier so i don't think it is related.

charlie only drooled when he got his molars and we used bibs then. are they getting their molars? charlie was about their age when he got his last 2 rear molars.
we never had to use bibs for olive (except for eating).
some kids just drool more... it's perfectly normal and won't last forever.

@chopsuey119: haha, I know, time flies! I used to say that about other people's kids.
@autumnlove: I think this helps defeat my hubby's theory cuz u still have to suck if u suck on thumbs....@Freckles: and the fact that your lo didn't even have a pacifier.
@Mrs. Bee: I'll have to check, but I see a canine coming in for my daughter and my son has all but the molars.... Hopefully they will stop when they get the rest of their teeth!
I think that they just don't know to swallow their saliva.
