My mother's planning a party for LO when we visit. It'll still be flu season and I'm really hoping no one comes if they're sick. Aside from the obvious reasons (no one wants their LO sick!), we don't have a doctor since we're flying internationally. It's supposed to be covered by our home owner's insurance but we haven't figured it all out yet (and hope we don't have to).

What I'm afraid of are the people that said they'd come but get sick right before the party and still come because they don't want to be rude. To eliminate that, I'm planning on sticking this on the invite:

Because it's flu season
We kindly request that you stay home if you're not
feeling well. There will be another opportunity for us
all to meet before we leave for our flight back home
to Sweden.

Thank you.

If you received that with an invite, would you be offended? Is there a nicer way to say it? How would you word it?
