I love the idea of babymoons. What's your dream babymoon location?
1. If money were no object, where would you go?
2. Realistically, where might you actually go?

I would love a trip to somewhere tropical where we'd have one of those huts right over the water so you can go swimming in the ocean right from your room... with a jacuzzi in the room and room service. Also with luau type parties and celebrations every night that you could attend if you want.
Realistically, we went to Newport, RI and had a spa weekend. It was pricey but worth it!! And good to be only an hour away from home.

I would love to go somewhere relaxing but exotic, maybe Thailand. On the beach, delicious food, vibrant culture.
Realistically, perhaps the FL Keys, possibly the Bahamas if we can afford it. I'm not actually sure how much the Bahamas would cost, I should look into that. I wonder if Cuba is open for tourists... *going to check*

I think it's hard for me because I'd want to go somewhere with good medical care just in case something happened. I wouldn't want to be stuck on a cruise or in Mexico and have bleeding... it would just freak me out too much and not be relaxing!
So really I would want to stay pretty close to home. Luckily I live 10 minutes from a beach so that's a fun at home vacation for us.

I don’t have a dream babymoon because my dream vacations all involve copious amounts of cocktails and wine, as well as raw oysters and other things that are frowned upon in pregnancy. My dream vacation also involves me having my old, svelte body back – especially if it’s a beach vacation! ;-p So we’re taking a longer babymoon after baby arrives.
We’re going to NYC for a small “babymoon” weekend get-away.

@yoursilverlining: Haha, I don't drink so that's not a problem, but I do have to cross lots of places I want to go off because the trip would be so long and tough.

oh I forgot-- with my first pregnancy we went to Martha's Vineyard. About a 2 hr drive and ferry ride away.

Hawaii! Like Mrs.Dumpling from WB and Mrs. Jacks did.
ETA: Oh, realistically, probably down to Crater Lake, Oregon. If we could swing it, somewhere warm, like San Diego.

@bluestriped bee: I actually did get to go to hawaii when I was 6.5 months preggo! My hubby made sure we had a kickass BM and I'm so thankful for that!
