DS's cord fell off after a week, which means we were home and never left. Therefore, he wore the side snap tees until it fell off.

We mostly stayed in side snap T's and diapers at home, some gowns. Out and about just a onesie or a onesie and socks or jammies.

Always a onesie or a sleeper. I avoided waistbands. I'm not sure it mattered, it just seemed like it would be uncomfortable to me.

We stayed home until it fell off (only on for 4 days), but we just used onesies ... it did weep a little bit, but I figured we were avoiding waistbands, and that was enough?

Side snap onesie and a normal outfit over it is what both of my kids wore in the beginning. I just made sure to fold over the diaper.

I had two tops from the hospital and side snap tops I alternated with pants that I folded over at the waist to avoid rubbing against it. It didn't fall off for 10 days!

We kept the stump clean and dry and LO1 wore mostly onesies. It did end up falling off a little earlier than it should have thanks to a diaper or something rubbing against it.
