I'm dying a less-expensive woven wrap (a C&C biotiful) and I was taking pictures for my blog and I just had to share this picture cuz I think it's über cool, lol. Plus I had to share my excitement for my wrap with my fellow babywearing hellobee-ers!
It won't be done till tomorrow night at least, depending on how long the ice takes to melt.

The colors...THE COLORS!!!!!!!!!
The ice has melted, now I have to let the dye sit all day or else the colors won't be as vibrant as I want them to be. Then tonight I can rinse/wash and show it off!

Not loving how it turned out, there's WAY to much yellow. So I'm gonna go over it again with just the two blues tomorrow.

Take 2 - since the Chartreuse turned out sunshine yellow, I'm going over that with Turquoise, and going over the two blues again just to make them more vibrant!

Can't wait to see the end! I think I've decided to get a C&C and give wrapping a go before sending it off to become a WCRS. Maybe if I love it I'll try dyeing too!

@pastemoo: I use Dharma dyes. If you want to dye baby things you need a fiber reactive dye so it's actually chemically changing the fabric. You can't use RIT dye, for instance, because it just kinda coats the fabric and bleeds off over time.
Your best bet is Dharma or Jacquard dyes.

@Navy_Mommy: This looks awesome! I just ordered some Dharma dyes--I'm dying all of our burp cloths (a bunch of Gerber prefolds) so we're able to keep them easily separated from the other diapers/wipes. I'm not trying anything nearly as awesome as this though, just sticking with solid colors!

@pastemoo: yeah, he's almost 1! Time flies, lol. Haven't been on HB much since he was born. A lot of the posts I would normally be interested in are gold posts but paying for a website just isn't really my thing. If we get pregnant with version3.0 i might upgrade again, we'll see. I can get a lot of the information/friends on closed Facebook groups for free
