I am increasingly having a hard time with LO in front carry because he has picked up the nasty habit of smacking my face! He is fine when we go for a walk outside, but yesterday i went for a quick shopping trip. I didn't want to bother with the stroller and he was smacking my face the whole time i was trying to shop (and it was only 20 minutes!). I ended up giving him my iphone to distract him which goes against how i want to parent. Plus i don't like getting frustrated at him the way I did with his smacking. He only does this behaviour in a front carry and I use the Beco Gemini which I don't like for back carries.

I am very inexperienced with back carries, but after yesterday I decided it is time to invest in the learning curve. However, i want something that is fast and easy. I am not into wrapping, especially for things like quick shopping errands. I also have an Ergo Sport but so far I can only get him on my back with someone else's help. I might give my mei tai a try at a back carry since I am a pro at it with front carries now......but wanted to check if anyone had a recommendation for a SSC carrier that is easy to put a toddler on your back?

I was thinking of investing in a toddler Tula at some point, but I only want to now if it will be really easy to use for my new purpose
