I just drove with the LO to an indoor playspace and she fell asleep so now I am sitting in the parking lot waiting for her to wake up. We are then going to the library this afternoon -- digging out all the indoor activity ideas now that cold weather is here!

It's funny how it's "snowy" and extremely cold everywhere but actually sunny and mild in Montreal. Mother nature is mixed up I think.

We were adventurous and left the house to run errands at Costco and the mall. There was a bit of hail and a light dust of snow. I was not a fan of the chill. Hubby is now insulating our windows for the winter (aka plastic film around our old windows). I'm hoping that the sun will make an appearance tomorrow for my LO's first Halloween parade!

we have no power here in CT, and therefore no heat! it was freezing sleeping last night. and now i have to find somewhere open to get gas for my car..

We have been without power since yesterday morning and heard we won't get it back till Thursday at the earliest! It was a cold night last night, and looks like I'll be over at the in-laws for the next couple of nights.
