What the heck is the "X" animal?

I was just looking at these today! I looked it up and apparently it's an x-Ray fish? No idea what that is though!
Do you think these are good for a nearly 11 month old?

@tinyperson: Haha, I googled "fish that start with x" over the weekend and that's what I came up with, but I wasn't sure.
I just bought them for my 13 month old. The first few days he mostly just watched me play with them, but today he started stacking them. He'll definitely grow into them more as he better understands shapes, colors, and letters.

Awesome! We're just trying to decide what to get her for birthday and Christmas...blocks were on my list.
