Ours (Jewel) has been pretty lazy and just moves every night - he came December 1st and brought new Santa jammies and a note to be good. Yesterday DD (2) got a hold of him so I told DS we had to pray to Jesus and Santa that he would have enough magic left to make it back to the North Pole. This morning he came with a note thanking DS for praying, reminding them not to touch him, and to keep being good.
I want to incorporate some of the kindness elves ideas..
DH wants Jewel to do some naughty things, pass because I don't want to have to clean it up! -

@Ajsmommy: lol, love the toasty one.
DS just got a camera for his bday - I should have the elf take a bunch of 'elfies' and pose with the camera.Last year "he" made santa hats out of paper and put them on our family photos in the living room, that one was fun/easy.

@josina: I've done the hats on photos too.. LOL.. I've done quite a few over the years and some times I literally just come up with it as i'm standing there holding the thing.. ..LOL

Elf has floated in a tupperware boat in a kitchen sink full of water, drank coffee from a straw connected to a kcup, drove a "shoe shoe train" (a twisting line of shoes in the entryway, wrote on the bathroom mirror in lipstick, cozied up inthe fridge in a coozie.
I've been pretty lazy this year, he hasn't done any of the above things except the fridge. I think tonight I'll tie him up in floss. If you have an older kid, he can write a note about flossing.

Last night our elf cut our photo out of our Christmas card and put himself in it... hanging with the rest of our cards.
