How awesome would it be if there were a third person around to help out with household chores? I guess a lot of people just have their family stop by (or hire someone), but those aren't possible for us now alas.
Can't wait until the kids are old enough to start chipping in... it's pretty tough getting everything done for the whole family with just two people!

@mrbee: honestly, best money and decision we made. With the hours our jobs demand, cleaning is not how I want to spend my weekend.
We also have a landscaper, so I guess there are 4 of us, really.

Cleaning lady definitely helps. For us, it's a once a month thing. I would love to have someone to do the opposite end of chores like I turn on the dishwasher, then someone else unloads. It requires a lot of reminding to get DH to do it.

But I agree with Mr. Bee. For 3 people who spend 9+ hours out of the house every day, we sure can make a mess.
