This might make me sound like a really bad person, but Sometimes I get kinda jealous when friends/family members find out they are having a baby the same gender as mine (girl). I don't know why!! It's so weird and it makes me feel bad 
anyone else ever feel this way?

I used to.... but then when I would think about it I would think about our LO's playing together and then realize that having the same gender is a GOOD thing!

We just found out our friends are having a boy three months after we have our boy. I am so excited! I think I might have been jealous if they were having a girl--I'd be over the moon for them but a BIT jealous.

Sometimes but regardless of gender. Having had bad ppd when LO was a newborn I feel jealous when I see friends who seem to be loving it.. But then again I didn't broadcast it when I was struggling either so you never know what happens behind closes doors, but to answer your question (or I hope it does)...sometimes.

i get so jealous when i see someone announce a pregnancy, no matter the gender. my lo is only 6 months and i can't wait to be pregnant again!

A tiny part of me gets jealous when a pregnancy is announced, but it has nothing to do with a gender announcement.

I'm the opposite - everyone, including myself, in my circle has had a girl first (literally everyone!) and when the second babies come around, I will definitely be jealous of those who have boys. Sad but true!

Gender doesn't effect me, it's just the bfp announcements that have me green with envy!
Another perk of same gender is hand me down clothes! Our first year was the best with hand me downs!
