Current research states that several genes determine eye color and it's not as simple as what we were taught in high school. I think it's a fun topic and I love guessing my future babies eye-color.

What results did you get?
Mine were 72.7% brown, 13.6% blue, and 13.6% green. I have brown eyes and DH has grey eyes (I entered blue).

I have no idea what color eyes my MIL has. I am pretty sure my FIL has blue but I can't zoom in close enough on the photos I have to see my MIL's color, SHOOT!
I have brown and my husband has green, our son has greenish brown so far.

We have a 50% shot of brown, and then 38% blue 12% green.
However, the little pictures showed 4 blue babies, 1 brown and 1 green! Interesting..

i think this is incorrect. i think our kids will have 100% brown. we have no other eye color in our family.

This is weird to me. My husband has hazel eyes, and I have blue-hazel eyes (they're mostly gray or green, but sometimes blue). Their over-simplification doesn't work with us.

50.0% Green, 50.0% Blue for us. I have green eyes, DH has blue eyes.
My mother has blue eyes, father has green, sister has green. Both of DH's parents have brown eyes and so does his brother.

how fun! I've always assumed my 100% brown-eyed family would dominate all future generations but looks like DH's side gives us some chance of something different. We got:
73% brown, 14% blue, 14% green.
I have always wanted dark hair and blue eyes...maybe one of our future LO's will be so lucky.

My parents and I all have brown eyes. MIL and DH have brown eyes, FIL has blue eyes.

Shocking. like, 75% brown and 20% green, with a smidge of blue. I have no doubt they'll have brown eyes.

Most likely brown, but it's confusing because my sister (half-sister) has blue eyes. It really depends on where he blue eyes come from.

My results were 13.6% blue, 13.6% green and 72.7% brown. My inlaws have told me they're hoping for a blue eyes, brown haired child, but it looks like that won't be the case. I was surprised by the green result though. Neither one of us have green eyes in our families.

I did this on WB. I think there is a very high chance that our kids will have brown eyes. Although, it was be so awesome if our kids had my husband's blue eyes.

We have the following likelihoods for our children's eyes:
50.0% chance of Brown
29.1% chance of Green
20.8% chance of Blue
(I love how they don't add up to 100%!)
DH's whole side has blue eyes (DH, mom, dad, and sister) and me, my dad, my sister and my brother all have brown eyes while my mom has green.

It doesn't work for me. My mom has green eyes and my dad has gray-blue eyes. I was born with brown eyes (they are now hazelish). It says that my parents can not have a child with brown eyes. They can, it is just technically a very small, slim chance. So I have to make my eyes GREEN to make it work, which isn't realistic!
But how fun to play around with this!

Although the eyeballs are 3 greens, 2 blues, and a brown. My whole fam has blue eyes, DH and MIL are brown, FIL and BIL are green.

What do you do for hazel eyes? I put green for them since hub's eyes are hazel but it's a green tint. I have brown. It told me 50% brown, 40% green, 10% blue. Interesting.

The green is actually hazel for us though. I looked it up since hazel is not an option and hazel is genetically closer to green than brown, so I entered green for me and my mom.

I got 100% blue. My husband's eyes aren't really blue and they aren't really green either. They change a lot and sometimes they are aqua. So I think there may be a chance for green. I guess I'll find out one day.
