When does your pediatrician start doing eye exams on your child? We had our first one at age 3 and she had a more intensive one at age 4. Her vision is 20/25 right now.
When does your pediatrician start eye exams? What is your child's vision?

I have congenital eye problems (glaucoma and cataracts), so my situation is a little different. My kids have been seen at 2m, 3m, 6m, 1y and from there, annual visits.

The pedi did it at her 3 yr well visit. They just told me that she looked great.

age 4 - I have no idea what their vision is - I guess its fine since neither needed glasses
DS loves to go to the eye DR - he was being a pill at age 4 for his eye exam at the ped so they failed him and we had to take him to an actual eye dr - instead of dilating his eyes they took pictures which he thought was THE coolest thing ever! Oh and he passed with flying colors
