@Pirouette: Uuuuggghh yes i see this in my feed too. Except they have a long string of reasons why the people who run Snopes are controlled by "big pHARMA" - yes, every internet site and every government agency (in the world) is run by a pharma company. I get it Snopes is not the be-all end-all of what is truth, but I'm pretty sure they aren't in on the conspiracy.

I can't even read this thread guys... the facebook misinformation makes me too angry!! I very freely hide posts from people who do this too often and it's probably the only reason why I still check facebook at all.

@Pirouette: The funny thing is I was trying to be open-minded about their posts, links to studies, personal accounts, etc until this mess, and now i'm back to nope. You're all crazy. Thanks for confirming that because before I wasn't sure.

My SIL's fiancé (then BF) posted a picture of a soldier in a turban driving a Humvee outside of their town, with the caption, "How ironic". I verbally punched him in the face and then blocked him... and now he's going to by my LOs' uncle. Sigh.
