I took a video when my LO was 10 weeks where she was crying and then I mimicked her crying. I felt like she was fake crying at that time so I was kind of making fun of her. You can see that she is very puzzled and then stops crying soon after because wait, maybe this isn't so fun anymore. Hahaha.

Too funny, I post a pic of my LO's fake cry on Facebook and it was dated around 9 months. It does get worse if you don't nip it in the bud

@Rubies: She fake cries when she wants something (phone and computer usually) but we hold her so she can't get to it. HAHA. She fake cries with her eyes closed then opens one eye to look at us. It's so cute it kills me.

My LO doesn't fake cry but he'll fake whine. And the way I know that it's fake is that the second I say "Mickey Mouse!" he smiles, right in the middle of his fake whining. And then I say "Heyyyy...You were fake whining!" and tickle his tummy and he cracks up.
