We go out without DD twice a month. We take her out with us (early bird special!) 1-2x/month. We tend to eat out more than that, but it's usually lunch since DD does better then.

@mediagirl: We don't eat out during the work week because M goes to bed so early, but we do get takeout at least once. So I voted 2-3 including the weekend.
ETA: The main reason we eat out a lot (it actually doesn't seem like a lot to me but I've noticed a lot of people on HB go some weeks not eating out at all and we've never done that) is because I enjoy the experience of eating out (not having to make a meal is a plus, though). I get bored if I eat at home too much; eating out gives us something to do and M loves to people watch

We've never had dinner out with LO. We do breakfast or lunch once a month probably.
We do takeout once a month or so also.

For dinner? Maybe 1x a month! DH eats fast food every day for lunch at work, and I do maybe 2x a week.

Before we moved my answer would have been almost every night! Now we eat out or get takeout maybe once a week.

We go out to lunch on the weekends. Usually both Sat and Sun, but we rarely go out to dinner since DH and I don't like to eat at 530. He will go pick up something and bring it home if we don't feel like cooking on the weekends. Weekdays I never eat out since I am home with just R.

Including weekends, probably 4-5 times? Our friends will call us during the work week to try out a new restaurant, or if they're craving a particular place so we'll go. We normally (always) eat out on the weekends.

Maybe once a month? Breakfast out is more likely than dinner just because we like to cook. And just because eating out gets expensive! I think last time we ate out for dinner was Mother's Day!
We get takeout probably once every two weeks for dinner. During my first tri it was much more often because I had cravings!
Last week we tried to eat out for dinner and it was an epic fail. DH picked up LO from daycare and drove downtown to meet me. Literally 2 blocks from my office she threw up all over herself, the car seat. Her first puke session ever. Sigh. We grabbed takeout and went home!

We almost never eat out during the week. Just no time or energy with a little one, would rather pop in a frozen meal if push came to shove. On the weekends though we try to eat out at least once, if not both times.

@lawbee11: exactly this! I don't have the time or patience to make all of the delicious, and often exotic, food we love. I could eat a different cuisine every night and never eat American food again.

@autumnlove: ditto! DH works till 9pm probably 2-3x a week. And we get one family day a week on the weekends together. We usually end up doing housework and inviting the ILs over so they can see LO.

@lawbee11: R won't eat and just will watch people. I cringe every time someone with kids sits near us. I think great we lost her, but on the plus side it keeps her happy.

I voted twice a week, but I am not sure if I am really allowed to count those, because technically, we're not at a restaurant!

These days it's 1-2 times a week, but when $$ is good, we go more like 2-3. We love going out.

Before DD, 3-5 times per week. When she was tiny, we still ate out once or twice per week. Now that she's a little older and has a set bedtime routine, eating out messes with it and causes more trouble than it's worth so we haven't done it in awhile (we have gotten takeout maybe once or twice a week, though). We really need to get a babysitter soon so we can have a date night! I miss our favorite restaurants.

We don't go out much with LO to eat. Usually, we order in about twice a week. I try to make dinner when I work from home or plan for meals during that day.

we've gone out to dinner maybe once or twice in the 17 months that LO has been with us. we usually eat lunch out on weekends both days though--i love going to restaurants.

LO is 2 and I can count the number of times we've had dinner out on one hand. We do takeout anywhere from 4-8x a month and weekend brunch is a staple!

Almost never! LO is at an age that is tough for having her sit still for an hour. Its just easier to hang out at home. We still get takeout once in awhile.

There isn't an option on the poll for less than one week... Maybe 2x a month? Sometimes less, but very hardly more. I meal plan every week and I'm really intentional about making dinner.

We go out to brunch and/or lunch with LO every weekend though.

Right now we go out for dinner or order to go Fri-Sun (3 nights a week) so I think this will increase once I return to work so I voted 4-5 days a week but not too sure yet.

Maybe 1x week. It's just not enjoyable or relaxing to eat out with DD. But we usually order pizza 1x weekly.
