I have no clue! Usually for my dad, we just buy him his meal at Burger King, which is where he loves to go. We'll buy him food things he likes too, usually. FIL we don't do too much for.

This is DH's first Father's Day, and I have no idea what to get him!

For my dad, just a card. He hates when we spend money on him, so I might just take him some nice steaks and sneak them in

For DH I'm doing a golf package!

My brother and I get our parents Netflix for both Mother's and Father's Day.

And Hubs wants a new external hard drive for himself.

Ugh, I hate shopping for my dad for father's day...!! I like to spoil him but it's hard to shop for him. I always end up getting him gimmicky little things like BBQ tongs and an apron that says #1 grandpa or whatnot. I know he gets a kick out of them, but I can't help but feel like I am giving him junk!!

As for Wagon Sr. we don't do much for gifts for each other anymore, so I'll probably get him something home improvement related.. whatever he needs at the time. Probably something lawn-related since it'll be June!

I have no clue what to get my husband. He's mentioned wanting a smoker, so I might have him pick one out. I don't know anything about grilling/BBQ/whatever a smoker does.

@Mrs. High Heels: @mrbee: I got my husband a craft beer of the month club membership a few years ago for Christmas. He loved it! He always says it's his favorite gift that I've ever got him.

I'm still on the fence. DH loves to golf and the poor guy hasn't gone golfing in two years. So I was going to send him & FIL on a golf outing at a beautiful course an hour away. But DH's back has been bothering him and he said it hurts to swing a club. So...I'm not sure if I should do that.

Will definitely hand make something from LO for both though.

@rahlyrah: I would love to do that for DH when the budget is a bit looser! He loves microbrews and we make our own.

I think for father's day, I'm going to get my husband a giftcard to the golf course he likes to play at. Either that, or maybe I can find out what kind of new club he wants from one of his friends.

For my dad... I'm not sure. He loves to cook, so maybe a gift card to Williams Sonoma? Or an attachment for his KitchenAid mixer.

For FIL, I have no idea... I'll leave that up to DH!

@Mrs. High Heels: do you have local breweries near you? A lot of microbreweries often offer tours and a chance to help make a brew! Then you also get to taste the previous tour group's batch!

For DH, I got him a framed "Parks and Rec" quote by Ron Swanson, a little brag book of pics, and then a nice meal. We've been having an ongoing discussion that Mother's and Father's Days are gift giving days on behalf of our LO.

For my mom, I'm getting her a gift certificate from her favorite quilting store. For my dad, I'll have to wait to see what he wants. He's usually good at telling me a desired gift.

No idea what I'm getting my dad—probably just a phone call and a card, to be honest.

For my husband, I got him a "Papa and Me" frame from Zulily months ago (from my daughter, of course). And I'm not sure what else. I'm thinking about getting him The Big Bang Theory on DVD, but that may be better as a birthday gift.

@Mrs. High Heels: My DH loves cigars and scotch so one year I got him a bottle of Johnny Walker Blue Label and got it engraved. Kind of pricy but sure to be appreciated by Scotch lovers! And they offer complimentary engravings at Binnys for certain holidays.

NO idea what I'm getting DH this year. It's so hard!

No idea! For FIL we always just order something random online-- probably a sports shirt or something. For my dad I prefer to do some sort of outting, but with a newborn I don't know how realistic that is.

My DH is the one I'm really stumped about. Since this is his first father's day I really want to get him something special. Like preferably something he could keep forever... but I just don't know

@PixieStix: do you have any recs on beer brewing kits? i'm guessing they're not created equal. his favorite craft beers are IPA's, followed by stouts.

erm....probably chocolate covered strawberries for my dad. he's obsessed with the ones we got my mom for mother's day.

DH, i'm thinking a funny coffee mug. Nothing too fancy. Steak dinner? *Shrug*

@Mrs. High Heels: Did you see the cigar and mini bottles [of liquor] I made for DH for Vday? It was pretty simple and he'd enjoyed most of the cigars and scotch from it already! Have you tried Stone Brewing Co.? It's nice to go for a meal and you can take a tour too!
