What have you got planned for Father's Day?
I believe both DH and my dad will get getting Hey Dude's, but looking for a cute diy gift for them from the kids.
We will probably celebrate early this Sunday with my dad and go strawberry picking/out for lunch.
DH will probably most appreciate a day with zero plans.

I had to Google Hey Dudes, I have never heard of them. 
I got cards for both of our Dads. DH is getting a card from the kids and I ordered him a t-shirt with a road on the back that the kids can drive their toy cars on for a "back rub" as a fun gift.

I got my husband a hammock but it arrived weeks ago and so we set it up right away. I also got him some water guns, so we can have family water fights, so I'll wrap those up.
As for plans, I'm a little bitter because it falls two days before my birthday and I feel like it should actually be MY DAY! But I think we'll probably get take-out breakfast, and my husband likes to Do Stuff so I might try to book tickets at the zoo or something.

Fathers day is being overshadowed by our son’s bday this year but I’m going to get breakfast for us, and I got him a craft bourbon and some locally made chocolates. We’re going to be on vacation the week before and my friend is bringing supplies for all of the kiddos to make a handprint craft.

DH did nothing for Mother’s Day except give me the morning off - so mostly planning the same. We both have May bdays so gift ideas are kind of used up! He asked for one framed photo and we will pick up starbucks and maybe something else for him, but he loves sleeping so that may not happen before lunchtime.
I feel like last year I was more creative for holidays and now I’m just tired!

@bhbee: I feel like the older the kids gift the less motivated I am to do the cute crafts. And frankly I probably appreciated them more than DH does anyways.

I got him matching polos with our son, and gave him the morning off so he could golf. He also asked for a driver head cover with a pic of our kids on it so I got him that, but he picked it out himself so it's not a surprise or anything. We're also doing dinner at Japanese steakhouse- something he loves, and keeps our kids happy and entertained, too.

So, we will be on our ten year anniversary trip to Portland, OR the weekend of Fathers Day (without kids). We will definitely do some kind of make up fathers day thing with my dad the following weekend, probably just hanging out at their house. And for the last few years we've donated to a Donors Choose project in their areas of interest for my parents for both Mothers Day and Fathers Day, so we'll do that again as his gift.
For DH, do you think I need to do a make up Fathers Day for him, too? I was probably just going to give him a Home Depot gift card so that he can add to his evergrowing collection of wood working tools and some time off to play in his woodshop. Should I still do that the following weekend or is our trip a break enough? I can't decide how I'd feel if the same thing happened for Mothers Day.

@Chuckles: I think it'd be nice to include the kids with something for your DH for Father's Day, since they won't be with you on the day. I'd try and do something special with them and him when you get back.
