@scg00387: well, he does eat green beans and corn but that's absolutely it. I don't consider corn to be a vegetable! And he likes them from a can (gross).

@HLK208: that's funny. I hate all vegetables except sweet potatoes but force myself to eat most of them.... but I've never heard of someone who didn't like both fruit and vegetables!

@Sammyfab: really? I thought green beans were a legume that was considered a vegetable! I read before that corn is a fruit rather than a grain or veggie so my husband argues that he does eat fruits and vegetables...pfft. I'm trying to get him to drink green smoothies. He says it's a texture thing that he can't stand, not taste.

You're correct...green beans are legumes that are considered vegetables because of their nutrient content. Corn however, is definitely a grain...we just eat it like a vegetable!
We get the most amazing green smoothies from our local farmer's market. I wish I knew all of the ingredients in it (definitely spinach, cucumber and apple) because I think it would convert your husband!

@HLK208: fresh squeezed juice! Our organic coop sells fresh juice with kale in it and you would never know... but a good way to still get some micronutrients.
