I actually have a Conair I am happy enough with. It's not life changing but the woman at Ulta told me it's very popular and it is inexpensive. I bought a Rusk dryer but less than a year later it started sparking so I decided not to spend the money on an expensive one again!

I always heard try to get as many watts as you can for a faster hotter dry and less frizz.

I want the dyson one so badly, but the price, omg, not happening.

I need to replace mine as well and I always go back to the Conair ones.

@Littlebit7: What kind of hair do you have? My hair is very thick and coarse and for me there's a noticeable difference in using a drugstore dryer and a salon brand one, in terms of speed, smoothness, and ease of drying. But if you have finer hair that's easy to dry you probably wouldn't notice as much of a difference.

@MamaT: How much was it?

I have very fine hair, but I have to spend some time working with it otherwise it doesn't style nicely.
