We got rid of all our baby toys before DS2 was born and I'd like to get some for him for Christmas. He'll be 8.5 months.
I feel like we didn't have any crazy favorites from our first two kids, so I'd love to know what toys your kids especially loved!
We're also going to get him a lovey, so any recommendations for those would be great too, my other two kids never attached to a lovey!

We like the loveys that are little blankets with a head on them. I got LO1’s years ago at Old Navy (I don’t think they make/sell them anymore) and got LO2’s at Target. They are soft satin on the bottom and super cute. We like the small size.

Word of wisdom, buy two (or three lol) to swap out when washing or if one is inevitibly lost. Though caution if your kid finds out there are multiple like mine and now she snuggles both! Lovey and Other Lovey hahaha

@jape14: @LBee: With a ridiculously loud older brother and sister I am totally okay with noisy toys. He is SUCH a good baby that we want to spoil him a bit so I am totally down with an annoying but awesome fish tank haha.

DS's first baby toy was these blocks, they were a hit and still are with DD. (they were also referenced a few times on the 1 year old gift post yesterday!)

Both of mine loved the activity table since they were pulling up to stand at that age. And before they could stand you can also take the legs off too.

@HappyBaker: The lovey my son requested this year is a cuddle and kind puppy! Pricey but if you’re introducing one for the first time to your baby, maybe worth it! It hasn’t arrived yet but it looks nice and soft. I also got a couple for friends’ first bday gifts.
