I'm up an awful lot at 3:00 AM these days. Sometimes I just HB while the Trikester nurses and then falls asleep, but I also frequently work on my stash of DVR'ed TV shows. My go tos for the middle of the night are: Four Weddings, The Ellen Show, American Pickers, and Pawn Stars. What are your to to shows in the middle of the night?

LO only takes about 5-10 minutes to nurse so I don't have time to watch any shows, but I'll check FB on my phone (never much going on at 4am), and read any responses I've received via email notification on HB!

i don't watch tv for middle of the night feedings because i do it in the bedroom with DH and don't want to wake him up too much and overstimulate my brain either. but! during the day, i am on season 3 of Grey's Anatomy on netflix with 4 more seasons to go! i have tons of tv shows lined up in my queue.

Seinfeld and Freinds were always a hit. Really, any 90's sitcom did the trick for me.

@Bao: jealous! By the time I nurse, change diaper, swaddle, and get to fall asleep, it's an easy hour. Ugh. Hopefully it gets faster!!

i watch hulu on my iphone. guilty pleasures are nashville and revenge! although olive sleeps thru the night now that we sleep trained woohoo!

My LO will nnoooott sleep if there is any light...so, I am banned from TV watching while nursing:/
Basically, I use my phone to surf HB, or I just doze off until I here his "I'M FULL!" grunt and snort. -
We co-sleep half the night so I barely wake up to nurse or change a diaper (thankfully he poops at the same time everyday, and it's in the afternoon), but during the day I cycle through Doctor Who, Arrested Development, Vampire Diaries and lately Supernatural. We don't have cable, only Netflix and Amazon Instant Video.

Netflix has been the best thing! In the first three months I have watched all seasons of Dawson's Creek, Felicity, My So Called Life and am finishing up Freaks and Geeks. What can I say, my LO loves to slowly and leisurely eat lol

I watched all the seasons of "How I Met Your Mother" on Netflix. I would watch them on mute with subtitles!

Same exact situation as @Bao! I was all ready with my dvr for middle of the night nursing, but it turned out I didn't want to wake myself up that much..and when she's done I just want to fall back to sleep.

@plaidpants: that's exactly what I do for pumping!! I am on the seventh season now so I'm SO AFRAID of running out of episodes!! What the heck do I watch next???
It needs to be as familiar, short, funny, and mindless as HIMYM!! I'm considering Wings and Frasier. I don't wanna do anything like Grey's or Downton Abbey because it has to be something I don't mind shutting off in the middle of an episode, to be continued later.

I try to stay off my phone so I don't wake up too much and can just fall back asleep when LO is done nursing. But during the day I've been watching a ton of Friends and Frasier re-runs on tv--old school stuff, lol.

@plaidpants: The thing about Scrubs is that it's very Seinfeld-esque: you kind of have to watch the whole episode for everything to get all tied up in the end. I know I'll linger and keep watching (or get annoyed that I have to stop) after I'm done pumping, and that's not good, especially pumping before bed or at work!
As for 30 Rock and Parks & Rec, I would totally consider it if they were shows I'd seen before. Since I'm so unfamiliar with them, I'd really want to pay attention!
HIMYM is so perfect, I'm so sad I'm catching up
