@snarkybiochemist: A plan always helps me. I really hope you get your BFP asap and don't need those additional steps.

  2. snarkybiochemist

    nectarine / 2180 posts

@jhd: That's the hope, but having a plan and a good discussion helps. Even if I did spend the first part of it apologizing for how hard this process is and how much I just want to give him a child

@snarkybiochemist: oh I agree completely. It definitely is important to talk through it all and come up with a plan. Just knowing what our options are always helps me.

@jhd: It is so important for both he and I to be on the same page, because while I might be the one physically going through the treatments he is dealing with the emotional fall-out right there with me. We need to be on the same page or this will be a disaster

@junebugsmama: @jhd: @snarkybiochemist: Thank you guys It's the teeny-tiniest of clots and not that often, so I don't think I'm getting rid of any tissue but probably just making things more annoying for myself than I need to.

@snarkybiochemist: That's great to have a plan, though I hope that you won't need it. I'm sorry that you have to go through this, the physical stuff and all the worry about what to do next, the whole process can just suck.

My husband could go either way on kids - if I didn't want them, I am sure he would be happily child free, though I think he'll also love it and be a great dad once/if it finally happens. It is super important to me to explain my feelings to him, as I know they are feelings he doesn't have. It's made for some tough conversations but I think I come out of it having learned from his perspective and knowing that he also understands mine better.

@periwinklebee: I'm glad you and your husband were able to talk and see things from each others perspectives.
I really hope I don't need any further plans

So no period no spotting yet and no cheapies in the house. I'm just going to call my doctor today or tomorrow and see if we can figure this out. Options are pregnant with late implantation, not pregnant and did not ovulate so I will never get my period, not pregnant with late ovulation which I don't know since I didn't temp and this my period isn't late, or the cysts are still hanging out causing trouble.

@madisonbee: posting the list made me think of you and want to check in. What's happening in your parts? (Pun intended???)

  11. snarkybiochemist

    nectarine / 2180 posts

    @knittylady: today since I typically have a 12 day luteal phase and I'm 13DPO

  12. mrskansas

@snarkybiochemist: Have you tested at all? Sorry if I missed it!

  13. snarkybiochemist

    nectarine / 2180 posts

@mrskansas: I have no cheap tests in the house only an FRER and I'm not sure I want to use that and see a negative and waste a good test. I am probably crazy.

  14. mrskansas

    nectarine / 2813 posts

@snarkybiochemist: Your willpower really amazes me! I'd be peeing all over that FRER!
The only test I have in my house is a First Response Rapid Result which isn't nearly as sensitive as a FRER, which means I'll be forced to wait until I'm late!

  15. snarkybiochemist

    nectarine / 2180 posts

@mrskansas: Mostly I have myself super convinced that I'm not pregnant and that testing would be a waste. I am tired of getting my hopes up thinking that these symptoms are different from last months PMS getting my period symptoms so therefore I must be pregnant.

@knittylady: thanks, lady! first off, thanks for doing the list--happy to see the BFPs again.

As for me, not much going on--trying not to think about POAS and symptoms. Although the only symptoms that have stood out this entire weekend was white creamy cm to slightly yellow creamy cm and my nipples feeling like they're getting pinched a couple times every few hours or so. I'm trying to hold out for Friday to test so we'll see!

    @snarkybiochemist: I feel ya. It's such a roller coaster!
What's different this month vs last month, just out of curiosity?

@knittylady: Looks like I O'd prior to my first PPAF! Currently 4dpo - I have a short LP of 8 days, so AF is expected on the 18th. I'll be POAS starting at 6dpo, though, because I'm a POAS-aholic. Good luck to everyone still waiting to test!

@snarkybiochemist: Oooh your will power is admirable! I would've peed on that FRER days ago! If you call your doctor today, hopefully you get things worked out. If you end up POAS today, I hope it's good news!

I only have 2 CB digital left and I don't wanna spend any more money so I'm gonna use the first one on Friday. Gah!

@bananasareyellow: good luck!!! I hope the next couple days fly by!

@bananasareyellow: I'm 4DPO as well! It's the worst! I'll update your POAS date

I just about bought another pack of Wondfos on Amazon but I'm really trying to hold out until 13/14 DPO. I only have one test and its sensitivity is like 100/miu so I won't be able to test early.
4/5 DPO and really wanting this week to fly by...

@mrskansas: The cramping goes away then comes back, the spotting has been just when I wipe and mostly brown and sometimes not at all(with a pink tinge on Friday) my boobs are killing me all the time, I haven't gotten pimples on my chin like I normally do, and I don't have my period. I have never had a luteal phase longer than 12 days without progesterone.
@madisonbee: Thanks I only have willpower because my emotions are a bit fried

  25. mrskansas

    nectarine / 2813 posts

@snarkybiochemist: I know I shouldn't say this, but I want you to test so badly! That's not helpful at all when you're trying to hold out though.

  26. snarkybiochemist

    nectarine / 2180 posts

@mrskansas: I'm at work right now so I absolutely cannot test but I am debating calling my doctor to go in for an ultrasound and blood test. I could either be pregnant or I didn't ovulate and my body isn't sure what to do with hormones being present at the wrong levels.

  27. mrskansas

    nectarine / 2813 posts

@snarkybiochemist: It would probably be good to go in for a blood test & ultrasound, that way you can see what's going on in there.

  28. snarkybiochemist

    nectarine / 2180 posts

@mrskansas: Probably, at least it would allow me to relax and move on and either be pregnant or start birth control/provera

  29. mrskansas

    nectarine / 2813 posts

@snarkybiochemist: Yep, exactly. Are they usually able to get you in the same day?

@mrskansas: No but typically next day

    @madisonbee: @knittylady: Thanks, ladies!
@knittylady: @mrskansas: O-date friends! FX for all of us! According to FF our EDD would be November 2nd - myself, my sister, and my daughter are all November babies - it's a great birth month.
@snarkybiochemist: I hope this is it for you - your symptoms are promising, but our bodies can really be a$$hats sometimes, so I understand your hesitation. Keeping my FX for you.

  38. snarkybiochemist

    nectarine / 2180 posts

@bananasareyellow: Thanks my symptoms are just promising enough that I'm worried I will be horribly let down

@bananasareyellow: Thanks, I'm tyring not to drive myself to crazy.

My biggest complaint right now is the fact that they are doing construction on the bathrooms on my floor, so I either have to go up or down a floor to use the bathroom and I feel like I have to use the bathroom a lot right now
