R is 9.5 months. Last week, we started sleep training to eliminate night feedings (which went from 1 to multiple a month ago). It's gone pretty well so far...he's had 6 nights and I've only had to feed him once over night. I'm doing Ferber style checks - give him paci and lovey and lay him back down (he's usually standing in crib crying). He is still waking up once though...I'm not feeding and he typically will settle after one check.

My question is when can I expect him to stop waking for that check?

He goes to bed at 7/730. He is fed before bed with the lights on. If he is awake when he is done eating, he goes in the crib regardless...he is often very sleepy, sometimes awake, sometimes more than sleepy. He can put himself to sleep within a few mins.

The first two nights he woke at 12...after 1 or 2 checks went back to sleep and slept until 6/7.

The third night he cried for just a minute at 3 am and slept until 630.

The fourth night was bad....woke at 12 and after multiple checks and an hour + of off and on crying I fed him.

The fifth night he slept until 415...after 30 mins of talking to himself I finally fed him at 445.

The sixth night he woke at 2 but went back to sleep with a check...woke at 530 and I fed him...slept til 7.

Any suggestions or insight?
