What brand of Doppler do you have and where did you get it? I know I'm too early for one now, but I think I'm going to order one this time around.

@Sams Mom: I used a Sonoline B - I got it from Groupon for $30-ish. I started using it at 9-10 weeks and it was a great source of reassurance for me!
Congratulations by the way!

@Sams Mom: I second the Sonoline B! (It comes in different Hrtz and is available with or without the gel.) I had purchased it from a medical supply store in Hawaii, but since I had proof I could find it cheaper elsewhere, they honored the price difference and I received it for around $35. I have seen it on sale since then (Amazon Prime Day is soon approaching!) so you can probably find it fairly inexpensively. I begin using it around 7 weeks just to try it out .... and I was so surprised that it worked! Not as well as my physician's, but, still, really well. (Keep in mind, fetal placement and the thickness of maternal visceral tissues will effect when you may hear baby.) In all honesty, it was a great purchase simply for the piece of mind it assured me. If I had not passed it on to one of my friends a couple years back, I would have sent it your way.

Sonoline b for sure. Has worked excellently for me with two pregnancies and I highly recommend. Easy to use as well. I found my baby just shy of 10 weeks both times.

@Kaohinani: thank you lady! I know you would be more than willing to share if you still had it, you're the best.

I can't believe everyone recommended the same exact one! I did a search on Amazon before posting and there was quite a few to come up, but none of them were through Amazon so I was unsure.

@Jessiemuller88: I know I'll have it before I can hear anything, but I'm pretty excited!

@Sams Mom: just watch some YouTube videos beforehand and use lots of gel! I use aloe Vera. One woman said she used hand sanitizer...

Totally agree on sonoline b, but to be fair I bought mine based on HB recommendations. And def watch YouTube vids. I was able to find a heartbeat at 8+6 on mine. Had to tilt my pelvis up and push pretty hard, but totally worked! Just donβt freak out if you find it one day and then canβt the next, because that also happened to me, and everything is fine.

@pachamama: I got it! And I found baby after much trying I'm pretty sure
