What was your LO's first birthday party like? I still have 4 months until DD turns 1, but it's really slow at work today, lol!

We didn't really have a theme - bought generic Happy First Birthday stuff. My mom made an adorable Very Hungry Caterpillar cake, though.

DD1's was just colors I liked, DD2's was tea party.

DS is only 3 mo old but his first birthday will be Finding Nemo/Dory themed.
We were Team Green for most of the pregnancy (dropped out at 30 weeks) so we called the baby Nemo and thought it would be cute to do a theme that gives a nod to our baby's in utero nickname.

For first bday I just did a color theme. 2nd bday I did puppy/kitty theme bc those were her favorites at the time. 3rd bday will probably be some Disney character theme'd bc that's her favorite now...

K's first birthday was cupcake themed. Poor Max is suffering second child syndrome- he turns 1 in a month and I haven't even thought about it. Maybe pirates. Lol

No theme, just focused on the colors turquoise, navy, and green.

Winter wonderland. Her cousin whose birthday is 2 weeks prior did twinkle twinkle little star.

For DS we did Toy Story. An old Disney classic. Lots of DIY decorating.
