I just dropped H off at daycare. I miss her so much. I'm on my way to work, it's gonna be a huge mess, and I have no idea where I'm pumping today either. Plus, I'm salaried and I didn't get paid yesterday (idk if I was even supposed to get paid, but with two weeks of daycare looming, a paycheck would have been awesome).
Pity party for one. Make me laugh bees, I'm a sad mommy.

That first day is the hardest - I just dropped my 23 month old off at a new daycare and almost lost it on the way out. It really does get easier. Call them as many times as you need to make yourself get through the day (trust me, they're used to it). Is there a way you can leave work a little early today?

I did find out where I'm pumping. In the bathroom by my office. At least it's private, I guess :-/. My boss didn't even look for another place for me to pump.

@avivoca: How large is your office? If you have more than 50 people, I think legally they have to find you a private location OTHER than a bathroom to pump!

@T.H.O.U.: @Adira: We have 12 people who work here, so technically they can claim hardship. The HR/DOF is out of the office until Monday, and if I go to him I'm going to ruffle my boss' feathers.
Basically, I'm hoping to find a new job ASAP.

Well, she had fun at daycare! She blew out her diaper and they had to change her clothes, but she was all smiles when Daddy picked her up!

YOU GUYS!!!! My friend at work cleaned up a supply closet for me to pump in! It's warm! It's quiet! There is a stool! My output was so much better in there.
What can I get her to show my appreciation? She pumped here for a year and was able to use someone's office when she needed to, so she knows how hard it can be to pump in a small office.
