Not sure if theres a thread, but what are you getting LO's father and grandfather for fathers day.
This is DH's first fathers day and I need inspiration.

I'll probably be no help, because what I'm getting DH is very specific to him. He used to joke that he wanted to receive an ugly tie every Father's Day, but changed his mind several months ago because he never wears ties. I've seen him wear a tie once, on our wedding day. What he does wear is Hawaiian shirts, every Friday. So instead of a tie he decided he wanted to receive a Hawaiian shirt. I found a company that makes matching Adult/Child shirts, so I got one for him and a matching one for DS. I also got him a book of Dr. Seuss's wartime editorial cartoons. I'm thinking about doing something with the billion photos I have of the two of the but I'm not sure what yet.

Well my husbands favorite Children's book was The Giving Tree so I got him an anniversary edition.... And he caught me wrapping it so I went ahead and gave it to him
So now I've ordered a braves onesie (his favorite team) with our sons name on the back and am giving it to him with some tickets to a baseball game - we have the braves AA team here !

@FutureMrsMcK: OMG! My DH wears Hawaiian shirts to his office any day he can! lol! The "rule" for casual days = "button-down, collared shirt" and he says it fits the criteria. Though everyone knows that's pushing it... he's kind of gotten known for it now! Great idea! I might have to snag that tradition as an idea!

@shopaholic: LOL! Mine works in a warehouse with no dress code (besides, you know, wearing clothes), so in theory he could wear one every day, but he's been trying (for like a year and a half now...) to start a Hawaiian Shirt Friday...no dice so far, lol.

And will also be DIYing a D A D frame. Basically 3 pictures of LO holding up a D, A, D. -
DH has been having a drink more at night, well when he was home and not traveling. So I would say to R, see all that crying is making Daddy drink. The first couple months were rough in our house. So I got him a card that plays Shout, since he says her cries are so loud. And some whiskey stones, going to sign the card from R saying since I am causing you to drink so much. I know he is going to think it is cute.
I got him a rub and Beer Butt Chicken thing for the grill.

I got DH a laptop for Father's Day and his birthday combined, as his birthday is 3 days after Father's Day. Also I got him a life is good tshirt (they are his favorite- so comfy) and I want to DIY a DAD picture!

I bought him an A's board book to read to LO, and some A's tickets. He knows about the tickets because he was with me when I bought them at Costco. I like the idea of the footprint project/poem above. Maybe I could do something like that...

I'm getting him some long-handled grilling utensils (we only have short ones and he burns his hands/arms every time) and a basket to use on the grill for veggies/shrimp/etc so we don't have to waste so much dang foil every time

Since I am due the day after Father's Day I ordered a sample pack of Crumbs cupcakes for both of our fathers and my husband. They'll be delivered a day or two before Father's Day. DH also upgraded to the iPhone 5 yesterday because his 4 wasn't working well and I need him to hear his phone ring when I go into labor

There are some great ideas on here! I think I'll do something with her hand/foot print & then I want to take some pictures of her in one of his Redskins jerseys.

I'm taking them both the Science Center
They're having special FD exhibits and D is a huge science buff/nerd! And I just made & ordered these matching "tees" online.
D has been a huge hulk hogan fan, and karate kid (pt2) has been an ongoing joke in our relationship :). he mentioned wanting a cobra kai tee. i was too lazy to make them at home, so i made & ordered them online! -

We just put a bar in the basement in his "man cave" so I'm going to get some fun stuff to help make it official. For Grandpa's I'm not sure, probably just make a card with a picture that has "You're My Favorite Papa" and give it to both

I printed a pic of him and DS and will give it to him in a frame. I also got him Star Wars cuff links, tie bar and money clip. He doesn't wear a suit often but complains that he doesn't have a tie bar/cuff links when he does. I am also taking him to brunch at a resort that has unlimited microbrews.

I'm going to order him a mug with DS's photos on it. He loves his coffee every morning! I also got him a cooler bag to take drinks golfing and I also want to get him a round of golf.

I'm getting him a silver guitar pick that has "Play me a song" engraved into it b/c he plays the guitar for Lady M and she loves it. Also getting him a gift card for a fancy shave b/c he keeps saying how he wants to get one but I know he won't treat himself.

Last year, I went to Michaels and bought two oversized letters ( D and A) then took photos of Chloe holding them. Then I bought a photo frame that held three photos, and put the photos of Chloe in it to spell out D-A-D. So cute! I'll do it again this year
Also got him new biking shoes & a laptop bag.
This year he wants a messenger bag.

@Mrs. Jump Rope: I was going to do the D-A-D thing but I love the idea of doing it every year! my parents used to put our most recent school photo on top of the rest, so when we replaced it every year you could look at all the old ones. you can see how much she's changed!

I wasn't super impressed. The quality wasn't great for the price and they ran HUGE! I ordered DH a large, because he likes them big, but had to exchange it for a small, and then still had to boil that down to try to shrink it. The customer service was good, but I doubt I'll order from them again.
