When Hubs and I found our we were pregnant, we purchased a few small onesies and a tiny pair of socks that looked like slippers. We also bought a small teddy bear when we found out that our miscarriage was definitely going to happen.

I bought a pink fleece jumper from baby gap that had bunny ears on the hood and a fluffy white tail on the behind.

We are not pregnant yet, but we bought a highchair from some friends. I have a onesie to give Hubby whenever we do get pregnant.

@Jennimac - That's how I told my Hubs. I put a onesie inside a new shirt for him, gave him the shirt, and then asked him to try it on. He found the onesie inside and it took a few seconds for it to register.

We bought a wooden Noah's Ark play set before we were even trying. Since finding out our little bean is coming, I've bought a rug for the nursery.

We're not expecting and I've already purchased a few things for a future nursery: A world map from Future Mapping Company and a dachshund stuffed animal/pillow from Pillow Pillow Pillow : )
I nearly bought a Schoenhut toy piano when they were on Gilt a while back, but I don't really have the space to keep it now.

dH is a huge Anaheim Ducks fan so I ordered a AD onesie and beanie for the baby. So far that's pretty much it, I'm sure I'll go crazy on black Friday though...

We tried our best not to go too crazy with baby purchases, and I managed to hold off until I was 3 months pregnant when I saw a onesie at Baby Gap and I *had* to get it. We're TTC now but I've already bought a few Little Golden Books because they're hard to find around here and they were always my favorites growing up. I told my husband about them on the phone and he thought I was crazy but once he saw them in person and realized what I was talking about he got so excited because he has such fond memories of those same books when he was a kid. We just took a trip to celebrate our anniversary and found some more and he actually brought up the idea of adding to our collection. It was so sweet.

I used to make wedding cakes before my LO came and I couldn't resist this little baby chef costume with chef's hat..........that I forgot about 'til she outgrew it, lol. One more reason to try for baby #2.

I didn't tell DH in a cute way, he was practically in the bathroom with me when I POAS, so there was no way to surprise him.
I think the first thing I bought was a load of unisex baby clothes from Ralph Lauren. We didn't know the sex until the birth, so that helped with the clothes overload for sure.

My husband loves to fish and has a fishing boat. I bought a onesie that says "Daddy's Fishing Buddy" (http://www.etsy.com/listing/84540003/cute-little-daddys-fishin-buddy-burp). If our ultrasound next week goes well (10.5 weeks) I will give it to him that night : )

then on our babymoon in Paris I got her a pretty pink dress from Jacadi.

We were at a yard sale in August, before we were pg but after we were ttc. I saw a sea-life lamp and some pictures of baby turtles, octopus, fish, etc at a house where the owner was walking around with his 3 week old baby in arms. I asked about it and they decided not to use those items. Scored four pictures and 1 lamp for $12. That's all we have so far.

I'm nearly 22 weeks and we still haven't bought anything. I'm not sure if it's due to my husband's Jewish superstitions or what, but we just haven't gotten around to it.
I guess I figure there's no real reason to buy anything yet.
