Today's my day off and when I did not want to get up for the day at 5:30, I fed my son and then took him into bed with me. It has NEVER worked. But apparently he was just tired enough....because he fell back asleep for 30 more minutes! I didn't really sleep I kept sneaking peaks at him - he was doing this cute smile in sleep thing and was cuddling me which he never does. He's 9.5 months old and every time I brought him to bed before he thought it was party time! It was kind of a special morning since he HATES snuggling : )

If LO wakes up anywhere between 5-6:30 I bring her to bed with me. I live the extra snuggle time!

That's really sweet! DS used to co-sleep but ever since we moved him to his crib he won't really fall asleep anywhere else. Half the time I bring him bed to nurse in the AM but he squirms and fusses until I put him back in his crib. I'm glad he has his own space and we have our bed back but I miss snuggling!

@winniebee: Yay!!! I was thinking of you and wondering if maybe daylight savings will persuade him to wake up at 6 instead of 5 in the future.

Awww, that's adorable! I am glad you got to snuggle:) And sometimes just laying in bed is better than getting up! Even if you're not getting sleep!

@plantains: I"m hoping : ) He used to get up at 5 on the button, but now he will wake up a little later if he goes to bed a little later. We might just creep out of the 5 am hour by his first birthday

@bpcmarj: I think when he saw me close my eyes he closed his too. I peeked a few times right when we laid down and he was peeking at me too but eventually he shut em and was oh so adorable : )
