I say 13, it's technically the lesser 1/2...:)

I think 1st is through 12wks & 2nd tri is wks 13-27.

In my mind it ends when morning sickness is over. That was week 17 this time.

My doctor said end of week 13.

My apps all start the second trimester at 14 weeks, but I always thought it started at 13 weeks. Everyone says after 12 weeks is when the risk of miscarriage goes down, so I guessed that meant the end of the first trimester too. I'm 13 weeks now and was looking forward to seeing the rollover this week, but I guess I'll have to wait another week.

I say 14 weeks starts second trimester! With that said I think w dS we announced at 13, this time we waited closer to 15

I consider it the second trimester when you hit 14 weeks!
