I feel bad for my poor DH. I am scared to have sex. After my mc in March, I am just terrified to do pretty much anything at this point. I hope it's only going to last for the first trimester!!!!
Anyone else feel like this? Should I just go for it?

I'm not so worried about it hurting the baby, but I've been so tired and sick that I just haven't been in the mood. Poor DH! I try to be amenable to once a week,.

@sslm: If it makes you feel better, we didn't have sex AT ALL after O'ing and we still lost the pregnancy. I say go for it!

Go for it!!! We haven't slowed down any and I haven't had any spotting or anything from it. I am going to enjoy it while I can. I have a feeling once I get huge I am not going to want too!
ps. It feels a lot better to me!

Um, we haven't since I found out I was pregnant 2 months ago. I was on vaginal rest up until recently, though. It just doesn't sound appealing right now. It definitely can't hurt the fetus but know you could spot a little after.

My DH was nervous at first too but then he was ok after the first time. But after my spotting a couple weeks ago I got scared and we haven't since then. That and I've started throwing up with my lovely m/s so the "mood" is hard to come by.
I say if you are at all feeling in the mood go for it.

@Mrs. Blue: that's the other issue, I feel like shit!!! But it's been 6 weeks so I'm starting to feel like a pretty terrible wife

@blackbird: that's what I'm scared of, that I'll spot and then completely panic and end up in emerg for no reason!

We didn't really do that much during first trimester, but then we hit second and it totally picked up.

I'm not afraid of it causing a m/c, but between the fatigue, nausea and general protectiveness of that area of my body I just have not been interested at all. I think we've done it twice since I got my BFP at the end of July. I feel kind of terrible, but DH has been getting other, er, satisfaction in that area....just not actual intercourse.

I also miscarried my first pregnancy and when we got pregnant with Emma I was bleeding almost right from the get-go. As soon as it stopped I had sex with DH once and it was blood city again and continued to be until 14 weeks. Sex also caused bleeding in the second trimester for me. Not worth it IMHO.
As a mama who went through a miscarriage it's too much for me to see blood at any stage so we've barely had sex at all my entire pregnancy (doesn't help I've been on bedrest since June). We figure at 36 weeks (only one and half more weeks!) we might get back to it to try to nudge little girl in the direction of the "door".
