Does your LO like Little People toys? My LO loves the sets at daycare...I always see her playing with the plane!

We don't have any sets at home, but LO loves playing with the bus at my niece's house.

Yes, very much so, especially the school bus and airplane. We also have the zoo and the farm, they get played with- but not as much as the vehicles.

We have a lot of sets (passed down from my neice) and he's really only into the school bus, I hope the other sets become more appealing to him soon...my neice LOVED them.

Yes! He has them at grandma's house and loves the circus with all the animals, and the train station. I bought him the airplane, but I'm saving it for Christmas.

Yes she does, we have a few sets and she prefers the airplane out of them all. I love to put them in stockings, you can't have too many!!

they are on his Christmas/birthday list! I love me an ape or three! He has the panda family already. And of course the naked mole rat, but that's not a Little People product, lol 
Right now he's even more into the animal "action figures" from the various craft stores- he uses the Little People vehicles and puts them inside as seen on Instagram. His favorite animals (the ones he can name) get to live on the coffee table, while the others stay in the toy box- he decides who goes where!

We have the zoo and they love it! It taught them animal sounds I didn't know! I'm thinking of getting DS2 some other set for Christmas or his birthday.

They are a little bigger than the people, so it's not a perfect fit in the seats, but C puts the animals in the plane and bus and gives them rides all the time- it just looks more like the last photo at this age
I took a couple photos for scale since the plane is a little smaller. At this age, I'd save money, get the less expensive vehicles, and a few animals since they are sold in smaller packs. At this point C hadn't used the big playsets much yet, just the vehicles, people, and animals. I'm sure that will change as they get older and into more imaginative play

When did your LOs start playing with them? We don't have any (actually, we got a pink SUV set for her birthday, but I returned it because I want gender neutral toys when possible), so I don't know if I should bother getting any.

@HabesBabe: Only recently at 21 months! She moved into the toddler room last month and all the kids love the Little People sets in the toy area.

@HabesBabe: He got them for first birthday & Christmas, he liked the noise buttons and opening and closing the doors right away. At 19 months stacking things inside the vehicles, and 21 months is driving the vehicles and constantly playing with them.
My MIL scored the plane and a huge bag of people and critters at a consignment store for $8!
