I saw that the TSA regulations specifically states that one is allowed to bring breastmilk, formula, or baby food through security, but there seemed to be a little disclaimer in the rules about only bringing as much liquids as is needed for the flight.

Does anyone have experience with bringing puree pouches through security? They really calm my little guy down, so I am inclined to have several on hand, both for the flight and for waiting in the airport.
