My ob gave me a printed list of foods to avoid (mostly specific fish but also things like alcohol and unpasteurized cheese), but it doesn't include some things that I've seen as no-nos on other lists--like runny eggs, salami/pepperoni/other cured meats, frozen yogurt...
She's generally very conservative (like, her list says to avoid salad bars....) so I sort of think if she doesn't say not to then I'm going to eat it anyway this time around...Though I avoided much more with my first pregnancy!
So, whose "rules" do you follow? Your doctors? The internet? A book or blog? Your own? Do you err on the side of caution and avoid everything?
