I'd post this to CSFL but...crazies.
DD1 is 3years 4 month 38.5" and 34.5 lbs.
She is currently rear facing in a Clek Fllo.
I always figured I'd turn DD1 at four but now I'm realizing she still has quite a bit of time and space left in her current seat. She won't outgrow it for another 4" and 15lbs. For forward facing she has 10.5" and 30lbs before she needs a new seat.
If DD3 didn't need a convertible in a few months I wouldn't be thinking about a new seat for DD1 at all. She's happy enough rear facing and as long as it's working I'm not messing with it.
Other info:
I have a minivan with three seats in the middle and three in the back.
We hope to have a fourth kid in two-ish years.
I'm picky and don't like the look of most car seats. Clek tugs at my heart/design strings. I'd put her in a five point Oobr if it existed in a heartbeat but she's not big/mature enough for just a highbacked booster.
Sooo....
. I really appreciate having him forward facing. He was putting up such a fuss about getting in the seat until we turned it around. I kind of hate dealing with RF, especially in my car. But I'm well aware of how much safer rear facing is, and I'm sure if we got in an accident I'd feel terribly guilty that he wasn't still RF.
