they were the opposite gender?
If LO had been a girl we had a few top names; Adelaide, Gemma, Evangeline and Brooklyn (or Brooke Lynne). We love all those names so much, I think we'll still hold onto them for our next one if it's a girl.

if we'd had a girl it would have been either:
Charlotte Spencer or Eloise Abbott (all of our middle names are family names)

We were considering Xavier and his middle name would have been after my BIL that passed away.

The names on our list for a girl were Holly, Natalie, and Jodie, but we probably would have gone with Caroline. Caroline and Jodie are still contenders, I think... sorta.... ugh, we are SO lost with names this time around!!!

If LO were a boy she'd be Owen Spencer. It's our boy name just in case.

@pelikila: I am really liking the name Spencer for a girl since Pretty Little Liars came out!

If DS was a girl his name would be Midori Kaye. If we ever have a girl that is the name we are still going with although DH and I like another name, but it's VERY similar to our sons name and I don't think we are that serious about it..

@Coco Bee: I like Spencer for a girl too (though I've never seen PLL). It is actually my mom's maiden name and I've always liked it.

If LO had been a boy, he would have been named Fletcher...after my grandfather. If we have a boy in the future he will be Fletcher.

@pelikila: then I like it even more! We gave my LO my maiden name as his middle name, and we've gotten such positive feedback on it.

Jack Isaac. If we have a boy next, we'll keep the name.

We have no idea! We could never settle on a boys name. I know he wouldn't have been a jr but other than that, neither of us could agree on a boy name. I didn't like my husband's middle name for a name (dated a douche named that) and he didn't want to name our child after my Dad. Thankfully, she's definitely going to be a she when she comes out.

we didn't really discuss names until we knew what we were having because me and DH were not agreeing on anything. so we figured we'd just wait till we knew boy or girl so we didn't fight. and in the end we only had 2 choices we agreed on for a boys name...and it would have been harder for a girl because we didn't agree on 1 name when we were randomly throwing them out.

If LO were a boy Eli (Elijah) was at the top of our list. Boys names came so easily to us, we found so many we loved... go figure!

Not sure!!! We're gonna have a helluva time coming up with a name this time around..

I don't know what DD would have been; we didn't have a for sure boy's name when we had her. DS would have been Penelope Josephine.

My husband and I have a deal that if this one just miraculously ends up being a boy we will name him George...
pineapple / 12234 posts
DS would have been Kameron (I guess that name goes both ways) and DD would have been Theodore.
@cyndistar3: I love the name George since no one uses it anymore!

If our first was a boy, we'd have used Larkin Andrew. If this one was a boy (or turns out to be one due to poor ultrasounding) it would be Henry Benjamin.

I think we would have gone with Declan, although with our last name he would sound incredibly Irish!

@cyndistar3: My brother-in-law's first name is George, and he goes by his middle name, Anthony. But my sister mostly calls him George, now. It started out as a joke, but now it's all she calls him. I really like it!

I can't honestly remember more than 9 years ago what we would have named my first LO had she been a boy. But, my youngest LO would have been Brayden Michael had she been a boy.

William Jamal, My SO would have named him if baby was a boy. We were team Green, I named the girl, he named the boy.

@pointybird: I love Declan... If I had another boy, I'd want to name him that. But with Nolan (DS), people would think we were Irish.

We didn't have any girls names set in stone, all I had was backups for DS, just in case. But when he came out, the nurse asked me what his name was and I said Nolan, it was totally right!
I'm having a really hard time with girls names for my little one coming very soon. Until I found out DS was a boy, I had so many choices. This time, I threw out most of my list and started again.
