I got DD1 this skirt. DD2 will be able to wear in the future too, so that justified it
Dd2 has a few r/w/b outfits but I don't have any photos!
Do you have any set outfit for your kiddos?

@sorrycharlie: haha oh man! You must've searched really hard or got super lucky!
I'll probably just find something red or blue in their dresser.

I got a GAP flag sweatshirt and ON star romper on clearance last year.

My toddler has this tunic, I'll probably out it with white or navy shorts or leggings. I sure I've got something for the baby, have to pull stuff out in the next size up probably!

I have a couple! Star sundress, RW&B heart leggings with a red tank, plus a RW&B bathing suit. We're going to the beach the week leading up to it

@MamaG: this is me! She has four or five patriotic outfits, but I justify them because they can be worn for more than one holiday haha
persimmon / 1445 posts
I'm a fiend for navy blue so DD always looks vaguely patriotic... For the 4th she will wear an anchor printed chambray dress with a red sash and a big red bow.

@sorrycharlie: So cute! I loooove that pattern! DD and I have coordinating LLR star tops (Irma for me, Gracie for her) to wear, but she also has several other red, white, and blue outfits that I'll have her wear leading up to the day. DS has a couple patriotic t-shirts, too.

@Foodnerd81: SO cute. Didn't know osh gosh was so stylish. Now I'm online shopping at 4am while he feeds

@sorrycharlie: I've stayed away from the whole Lularoe thing so far because the prices seemed too high, but I might have to give in for that skirt. So cute! I'm having another girl, so it can absolutely be justified
wonderful cherry / 21504 posts
Oh actually I also have this dress for both of them (hard to see but it's navy and white). Might have to do that matching outfit the week of as well. I think patriotic outfits are extra justified this year with the Olympics this summer.

@YogiRunner: I do a lot of online window shopping during middle of the night feelings! The tunics are really cute from osh kosh. We got a couple over Memorial Day. Perfect with the "playground shorts" or Capri leggings.

My son is almost always in red white and blue anyway. I love a classic pretty look for him so he's totally covered. For my daughter I pretty much bought out the Old Nacy Americana line. On the actual holiday my son will be wearing a red gingham Jon Jon with an American flag appliqué and my daughter will be wearing red gingham shorts with a white top with American flags smocked along the collar. #southern

@futuremama: see I thought so too! I'm SO cheap..seriously. But I got some pieces free (which led to me purchasing more..and more) and I can honestly say I've worn my 3 maxi skirts more times than the few "cheap" pairs of shorts I have from target. so price per wear is actually much less. I bought my 3 year old a couple dot dot smile dresses and she wore them so many times. I mean - like several times a week she'd change into them. She just recently outgrew size 2 (wears a size 4 in other brands) because it was just really snug, so they were passed to my younger daughter's closet. I am a total convert!
I will say I don't bother buying the shirts, though. Unless it's something super super unique or amazing (I have one randy that I love, and a perfect t that i don't love the fit of..a couple irmas). But generally I buy cheap shirts from target because I'm a hot mess and spill everything on myself.

@regberadaisy: very lucky. I missed it by 5 minutes because i fell asleep in my normal go-to consultant's online party. i posted in another group i'm in, and a very nice woman found one for me! I was psyched. I have the coordinating julia
@twodoghouse: last year this pattern came in dot dot smile! gaaaaah. I wish I coulda snagged one for dd2!

We will all be rocking LuLaRoe for the 4th. I got this shirt for my little guy and matching leggings for me, my DH wanted the Randy with eagle heads on it so he got that.

I got DD1 the cardinal/blue jay LLR leggings and she will wear with a white shirt probably. DD2 I found a "I love the USA" onesie at Once Upon a Child.

We were on vacation last week in a small lake town and they still had a K-Mart that was closing (seriously I thought they were all gone) so we walked through it and I actually got DD1 a cute denim dress that had white stars on it with a red bow for $4 and DD2 a red and plaid top with navy shorts for $3...can't beat that!

I was about to page @LAZB:, @Truth Bombs: and @jape14: for some smocked clothing. I see 2 of you have already posted, but obviously accidentally forgot pictures!
Representing the South and smocked, per usual:

@pwnstar: oh those would work...why don't I ever think of Amazon for clothing????
@LBee: Little boys size 5.

@looch: He'd be a size small in these I think!

@MrsTal: @rachiecakes: UGH I watched SO many parties and couldnt get my hands on either of those pieces for me or DD...so bummed!

@LBee: Sooo cute! What shoes does he wear with the smocked rompers? I almost got DS something like that for Easter, but none of his shoes seemed suitable. He mostly has sneakers and Converse and Toms. Would Sperry boat shoes work?
pomegranate / 3895 posts
@twodoghouse: Sperrys would definitely work! He is SUPPOSED to wear his adorable Saltwaters from @Truth Bombs: , but he usually yells "NO SANDALS, NATIVES!" Toddlers. The Natives actually look pretty cute with them - I'll wall you some pictures.
honeydew / 7230 posts
@LBee: Oh thanks! Yeah, my kids love their Natives, too. A is finally ok with wearing her Saltwaters this year, but I didn't think to try them for B!
