What's your favourite girl name from this list? Last name is long and sounds good with nothing! Haha.
Any similar suggestions welcome.

Hazel and Poppy are on my list (vetoed by DH, but still in my back pocket).
My BFF said Poppy + my last name = stripper name, so .... there's that. But I love the name with a different last name.

Hazel is my grandmas name so I've always loved it. I'm kinda bummed that it's so popular now.

I am worried about the popularity of Hazel. I don't know any, but I think it's popular here in general.

I like Hazel and Ivy. I know of 0 Hazels, but my friend recently named her daughter Ivy, and I've taught an Ivy.

Harlow - reminds me of harlot
Ivy - reminds me of poison
Iris - reminds me of eyes
Hazel - reminds me of witch hazel
Taylor - sounds like a strong, aggressive name for a girl
I love Poppy!

@peaches1038: same. My great grandma is Hazel and my grandma is Rose and I feel like both are so popular now. I always wanted to use one of them. I might still use Rose because we have an R last name and it sounds really good together

you've been talking about Poppy for a while, right? maybe that's the one!

Dd2 was going to be Hazel up until a week before she was born- I love it. I only know one Hazel and I don't think it's super popular but maybe could be considered trendy?
I also really like Taylor. We just decided we prefer gender specific names, so that took Taylor and another favorite, Jordan, out of the running.

Love Hazel and Iris. Also love Iris and Poppy, though I'd prefer Poppy as a nn. Not a fan of Harlow or Taylor

I like Ivy!
Iris reminds me of the dog in Downton Abbey.
Hazel still sounds to grandmotherly to me, but my neighbor growing up was Hazel si maybe that's why.
Poppy just sounds like a nick name. But it did seem like that's your favorite. If you can't get a name out of your head, I say just go with it. Your kid will make it normal by growing into it.

I like Iris the best, although apparently alot of people around here do too because I've met like 3 little Irises over the past year (there are at least 2 at our daycare actually).

What about Harper instead of Harlow?
@QBbride: I like Marlowe too!

@mrs.kiwi: haha. I'm a very visual person! And we're struggling with names ourselves right now so I'm all in it!

Thanks for the responses all
Poppy is my favourite and DH will take any of the others over Poppy if I would agree to one, haha. Leaning towards Harlow I think. But still hoping something will jump out at us as the right name.
