Today baby girl has been super weepy after her shots early this AM. She is usually a pretty happy baby but has seemed extra sensitive (examples: crying when I change her diaper, crying when I change how I am holding her, crying when attempting to nurse)... no fever or anything yet which I was told was a slight possibility.
Normal reaction? Could it just be coincidental?

My LO was like that after a few of the early vaccines. Our ped told us we could give Tylenol if we wanted to. We spent a lot of time cuddling those days.
ETA - but if your LO is still that way tomorrow, I'd call your ped.

@mrs.shinerbock: Her doctor mentioned Tylenol to me as well, if she had a fever. Would you give it without one? Definitely holding her a ton

Ours was exorcist screaming and I think it was gas from the rotavirus vaccine. Try gas drops? We did tylenol too.

My DD was completely wrecked after that first round of shots. Also usually a happy baby, she got so out of whack (fussy, unhappy, sleep was awful) that it took her a week to get back in sync. Good luck, mama!
ETA: We did give a little Tylenol even though she never got a fever.

My dd had all the symptoms you mentioned - all she wanted was to be held for about 24 hours after her shots. She didn't have a fever either, but my ped did give me Tylenol dosing in case. It took about 3 days for her to get back to her normal self! Hang in there!

My son had a similar reaction to the 8 week vaccines, we had an unhappy 48 hours. Luckily that was the only time, he's been fine for the rest of them.

Both my girls were crying and fussy after their 2 month shots. I did tylenol and also a warm bath and massaged the injection site on their legs, because it felt swollen and hot.

@Mfa_lady: her temp has gone up slightly to 99.6 so I dosed her a little bit ago. She's been SO sad and sleepy. I hope the Tylenol helps.

My LO screamed all afternoon after her 8 week shots. She just got her 4 month shots and had no reaction. And if I remember correctly, big sister also had a rough time after those shots too. I wouldn't be concerned!

My ped said Tylenol if she had a fever or seemed to be sore. And fussiness is definitely common.

@mfa_lady: I could've written that answer. Same exact thing. It got better when we were done with the rota virus vaccine.
