King of Tokyo is our new favorite party game but I'm not sure how much it costs.

For that budget, I'd say Phase 10, Bananagrams, or Fluxx.

Exploding Kittens. It's a card game, like Cards Against Humanity, but safe for work and really even easier to play.
ETA: It may actually be more than $10. At least I'm pretty sure it is in Canada.

Apples to apples is fun and was on sale on Amazon for $10 yesterday.

Dutch Blitz! My sister brought it over Thanksgiving Day, and 5 of us played and it was hilarious. Great card game.
