Lately my husband and I have been talking about gender preference, i.e., whether we'd rather have a baby girl or a baby boy if we could choose. We usually end by saying that we'd be happy with a healthy baby of either gender, but we still talk about what we view as possible pros or cons.
I would love at least one of each... but sometimes I feel like I would definitely be sad if I could not have a girl, because then I would not have the opportunity for a mother/daughter relationship later in life (like what I have with my mom now).
For parents who already have kids, what do you like about having a girl vs. having a boy (or vice versa)? Or for those without kids yet, which do you want and why?
Planning weddings! hehe. But I would also love a boy because it continues the family line. In my husband's side there has been NO boy yet at all. So I feel some internal pressure to have a boy at some point! Since we're only 1 of 2 cousins on his side left that will still have kids!
