Lately, I have been packing, because we're trying to get away from each one of us bringing our own suitcase.
He sets aside what he wants to pack and I cut it in half, then pack.

Never. The one time I told him I had a pair of his flip flops, they weren't the ones he thought I meant and was upset to find them not in our bags. I tend to pack way in advance though and hound him to get it done, because he'll be doing it the morning that we leave. I still make fun of him for the time we went to my parents' for a few days and he forgot to pack pants, lol. We had to run out to the mall that night.

Heck no! We both pack our own crap. We may discuss what we're bringing for certain events, etc, but we pack ourselves.

Nope. I pack for me and DS, and sometimes dogs (and soon to be LO), so he can do his little part and pack for himself. If he forgets something, oh well. We'll just have to buy a new one.

We each pack our own.
1) i don't pick out his clothes
2) I'm more likely to forget something
3) the idea of it even rubs me the wrong way, for some reason. He's an adult man, and he already has a mother....and it is not me. But I also don't do his laundry or pack his lunch (he doesn't do mine, either) -
I pack everything for both of us. I always ask him if there are any clothes in particular he wants me to pack, but usually he doesn't care. I don't mind since I'm the one who thinks things through more (like, does he need to remember outfits for certain occasions or events), plus I'm the more efficient packer.

Yep. I pack for DH, LO, and myself. When LO #2 comes, I will be packing for 4 people!
When we go on trips, I do all the packing. However, he does a lot of the organizational stuff, packs the car (does all the heavy lifting), and other useful things.

I pack everything for both of us. Our rule is if we forgot something we can buy it when we get there. Makes packing a lot more stress free!

He packs his own stuff but I pack everything else!

I pack for him. I know what he needs more than he does. Lol
