Ooh I haven't seen the trailer. I was meh about the book but I think as a movie can be a great thriller.
Hmm... Maybe a day date with DH before my mom goes home!

I'm going with friends after brunch next weekend. Can't wait!

I can't wait to see it! We will probably get a babysitter and go see it in the theater! Not sure I get the Ben Affleck choice, but I like him. It's getting great reviews! I really like David Fincher so I think it will be great!

When I first heard it was being made into a movie and saw Ben Affleck was chosen, I actually thought it was a good choice!

I really excited! I loved the book. Gillian Flynn wrote the screenplay as well and the movie has a different ending than the book so I'm REALLY curious how it ends.

I think Ben Affleck is a good choice. I don't know anything about the female lead, but her voice on the previews bothers me.

Neil Patrick Harris is not what I pictured at all for Desi, but I like him as an actor and think he can pull it off.

I'm surprised they picked Tyler Perry for Tanner Bolt, but glad that they are including a black actor in the cast. In the book, Bolt's wife was black though, right? Looks like that character isn't in the movie.

I've only read Gone Girl. Has anyone read her other books? Would you recommend them?

@cmomma17: I couldn't decide if I loved or hated the book either.

But at the same time, I think it would make a really interesting movie. I think it will be interesting to see how it progresses chronologically (will it still change viewpoints regularly like the book? or more moosh all together like a movie)

I want to see it! Not sure if I'll make it to see it in the theaters though. I really like the actress who plays Amy - she was in Pride & Prejudice.

I didn't LOVE the book but it was interesting.

I don't know why I am generally unexcited about Ben Affleck in anything (he's never like personally disappointed me), but I thought he was pretty compelling in the preview~ I have a date end of October to see it!
