I've been seeing this all over my FB. Apparently I have a lot of people around me on WIC who all formula feed and genuinely can't afford to buy formula. From what I've gathered if you have checks you can still use them, but getting new checks issued after the 15th isn't going to happen (I think). So sad

So if I may be so bold, beyond donating formula, there is more we can do about this. Write to your representative in the house and write to John Boehner to insist on a clean continuing resolution. If a whole bunch of regular moms start calling and writing, trust me it will make a difference! If you have a WIC story, share it!
My ask for them is a clean 6 week continuing resolution so we have time for a real budget debate.
