My Grandpa is obsessed with my little one. He comes over unannounced all the time. I don't know if that means that we don't visit enough or what but he just dropped by (I'm working at home). I love that he loves her but it is kind of weird since he doesn't go visit my cousin's LO (3 months older than my LO).

She only has one left, my grandma. And my grandma loves her!! We just went and had lunch with her last week. After we went back to her house and R and her played in the back room alone. She was in heaven!

Dh's grandparents are a lot closer than mine and yes, they're kinda obsessed with both of our littles. They don't just drop by but they do make a point of seeing them as often as possible. I think they just want to spend as much time with them as they can because who knows how much longer they'll be around? Or if they are around, who knows if they'll be coherent?

Oh yes, I wish we didn't live far away, because we don't get to see them as often as I'd like. My parents always show them photos and videos of LO, and it's their favorite thing in the world.

Yep, they're obsessed. DH has 6 grandparents living (two step, two adopted-one long story). 
My grandma is now the only one I have left, and she call them "MY boys" and if she could drive, she would definitely be over noooooon-stop.

Yes! DHs family has this weird dynamic where my late FIL was their favorite. DHs grandma told me she was so glad to finally have a "real" great-grandchild (She's actually like #5). So strange.

My grandma lives with my parents and my mom watches LO while I'm at work, so she spends a lot of time with him. My grandpa passed away last year and I really think my LO gives her another reason to not be constantly sad. They both love each other sooo much and it warms my heart.
My other grandma lives a couple hours away and doesn't see us as often, but I was never her "favorite" (she definitely had favorites). DH's only living grandma lives an hour away, but doesn't show any interest in her grandchildren or great grandchildren. We've been together 8 years and I've seen her less than 5 times.
Sadly, all of our grandfathers have passed away
